Breeding Season

The mating season for white-tailed deer runs from October through December. The springtime is when new baby fawns are born. Fawns can walk just a few days after being born and stay with their mothers for about two years.

What Do Deer Eat?

Deer are omnivores. They eat grass, twigs, alfalfa, acorns, berries, tree leaves, and pine trees. They will also eat garden vegetables, especially corn, tomatoes, carrots, and lettuce.
