I called multiple companies on a Sunday, panicked that I might have termites, and either sat on hold forever or didn’t get through to anyone. But when I called Advanced Wildlife & Pest, I spoke to someone right away — she was incredibly kind, reassuring, and explained it was likely just carpenter ants. She scheduled me for an appointment that Tuesday without any hassle.

Dylan came out and was absolutely amazing. Truly one of the kindest, most professional people I’ve ever met. He was thorough, patient, and made the whole experience feel easy. I’m so grateful I found this company and will continue using them for as long as they’re around!

Alex came out to our home and was knowledgeable, patient, and helpful throughout the visit. He clearly explained what was going on and gave practical advice. We called on a Tuesday and had someone out by Thursday to address some rodent activity. Really appreciate Alex’s expertise and professionalism. Not only was Beau efficient, he made the entire process so much more effortless for us. He did what was necessary; but that included something extraordinary. We had a family of squirrels removed and rehomed by Beau; but the very last remaining squirrel ended up passing away in our ceiling one night. The next morning we noticed an unbearable stench, Beau was not even scheduled to be working, but came anyway to emergency-style saw a hole in our ceiling; without him doing so we would have had to wait the weekend. It was crucial in our case that we had it done that day and Beau saved the day. He truly did not have any obligation to come that day, and we can't thank him enough. If you're considering service from him, don't question his dedication! 10/5 stars, would hire again without a second thought.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Ryan was friendly and very thorough. He explained what he was going to do. After he was done he showed us pictures of where there were openings the bats could enter. He said that he would come back the next day to close up all those spaces and where he would put the one way ‘valves’ that would allow the bats to leave but not re-enter.
Ryan completed what he said needed to be done the following day. He even said where he did find some guano so he would close that up and make sure a valve was put there. He even came to look at our attire door that we sealed up ourselves to let me know that it was done well. Thank you Ryan!

Our History

From a young age, founder Paul Winkelmann developed a strong passion for wildlife. He spent much of his childhood hunting and trapping. By the late 1980s, Paul wanted to see if he could turn his extensive wildlife knowledge into a business. In 1988, he and his wife, Jessica Winkelmann, founded Advanced Wildlife Control. We started small, but we have since grown to become the largest animal removal company in Wisconsin.

We originally started as a wildlife removal company and soon after expanded our services to include pest control. Locally headquartered in Slinger, Wisconsin, Advanced Wildlife and Pest Control is the most trusted animal and pest control company in Milwaukee and southeastern Wisconsin. Although much has changed since our founding in 1988, some things have remained the same. We continue to put customers first, maintain a dedication to quality, and strive to make the pest control experience easy, convenient, and hassle-free.

Advanced Wildlife Control operates under the names Advanced Wildlife Control Inc. and Advanced Wildlife and Pest Control. Our family-owned business is a member of the National Wildlife Control Operators Association (NWCOA), the National Pest Management Association (NPMA), the Wisconsin Wildlife Control Operators Association (WWCOA), and the Wisconsin Pest Control Association (WPCA). In 2018, Paul Winkelmann was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the NWCOA annual seminar for his time, work, and contributions to the wildlife control industry.
