CLEANING & SANITATION

The cleaning and removal of contaminated materials from animals is a very detailed and essential process. Animal feces possess potential health hazards to homeowners if exposed. For example, bat droppings in your attic contaminate not only your attic’s insulation but also your home’s air filtration. Our technicians will diligently remove any contaminated material. Areas will then be treated with a special decontaminating agent that will sanitize the area and break down smaller organic waste.

During our initial quote, we will develop a plan and price for the attic or basement cleanout to be done safely and effectively. Our goal is to always leave your home cleaner as it was prior to our arrival. Therefore, we will use tarps to cover and protect your floor from our hoses and/or debris.

We will order a large garbage dumpster for the cleanout day to throw away all contaminated materials. We do not cover any gable vents, soffit vents, recessed lights, or bathroom heat lamps. Our technicians will locate any areas that are allowing air to escape and seal those gaps so your home is heating and cooling efficiently. Additionally, if the access panel to your attic is in need of a weather strip seal we can also provide that.

We also take notice of lighting and wiring in attics. If we see anything concerning, we will bring it to your attention so you can contact an electrician to fix it. Our technicians make every effort to provide you with the most excellent service at all times.

No, we are not certified to remove vermiculite or asbestos from attics. However, we have connections with companies that are fully-certified to remove vermiculite or asbestos. Just give us a call at 262-242-4390 and we’d be glad to direct you to them.

ATTIC INSULATION REMOVAL & INSTALL

In more extensive cases, an entire attic cleanout may be suggested. Raccoons, mice, squirrels, and bats leave tremendous amounts of messes behind. Suppose animal feces completely contaminate your attic insulation. In that case, our attic restoration specialists will thoroughly remove the contaminated insulation and materials, sanitize your attic, and replace it with brand new insulation.
