Bat Guano Removal

Once the bat colony has been evicted from your home, the next major step is cleaning up your attic. Cleaning up bat feces is a very detailed and important process. Bat droppings in your attic can contaminate your home’s air filtration which can be a serious health hazard.

Our technicians are fully-equipped with the proper gear to safely remove the bat guano. The areas will then be treated with a decontaminating agent that will sanitize the area and break down smaller organic waste. The spray will also get rid of bat bugs, lice, mites, and ticks that may have been left behind from bats.

Attic Cleanouts

In some larger cases, an entire attic cleanout may be suggested to remove all the contaminated insulation from the bat droppings. Using a versa-vac system of hoses and/or garbage bags, we will remove all debris and feces from your attic and empty it into a large garbage dumpster outside. Once all the contaminated materials have been removed, we will sanitize the attic for potential hazardous waste and pests.

After attic insulation is removed, we will re-insulate your attic with new, clean insulation. We use fiber-glass blown-in insulation and make sure your attic is air-tight and energy-efficient. Click on the link to learn more about our attic insulation services.

IN SOME CASES YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY MAY PAY FOR YOUR ATTIC INSULATION TO BE REMOVED AND CLEANED. PLEASE ASK OUR TECHNICIAN FOR FURTHER EXPLANATION. DUE NOTE, THIS ONLY APPLIES FOR ATTICS CONTAMINATED BY RACCOONS OR BATS.
