With wildlife and pest control, our #1 focus is prevention. After we’ve successfully removed the animal(s) from homes or businesses, the most important step is making sure all those entry points are closed. During our initial service, our technician will evaluate your home or office and let you know of any areas that are vulnerable to animal activity. We will provide an estimate for any repair services needed and work with you in finding what best works for you.
The most commonly damaged areas we see are soffits, fascias, and the edges of roofs. These areas are quite easy for squirrels and raccoons to chew holes and gain access to homes. Other problem areas would include chimneys and vents (dryer, stove, bathroom, and roof). These areas are common entry points for birds and smaller animals. We have screening and cover guards available that will prevent wildlife from entering and nesting in these areas.

Chimney Cap Installation is probably the most inexpensive preventative measures for water leakage and damage to your chimney. It will also keep birds, raccoons, and other animals from falling into or nesting inside your chimney.
Chimney caps are available in different sizes, colors, and types. We will recommend a style that is suitable for you, but in most cases, we will suggest a stainless steel chimney cap that comes with a lifetime guarantee. All chimney caps that we install are removable to allow for chimney cleaning. Our technicians carry standard chimney caps while on their routes and can usually install them on the same day of service.
Ridge Guard Installation
Common areas where raccoons and squirrels cause damage to people’s roofs are along the top ridge and edges of the roof. Advanced Wildlife Control provides RidgeGuard installation and repairs services. The hardwire ridge venting material will prevent animal entry into your roof. It will also help protect your shingles from summer overheating, provide necessary ventilation, and prevent excess moisture in your attic.
Pricing will vary based on the size of the area that ridge venting needs to be installed. Our technician will provide a quote for you on the cost of the ridge venting. We have done many types of ridge venting for both small and large homes along the top and edges of the roof.
Vent Cover Installation
Vent cover installation is another inexpensive preventative measure for damage to vents around your home. Dryer, stove, bathroom, and roof vents are common areas for birds and smaller animals to enter or nest. Our vent covers are available in different sizes, colors, and types. Our technicians carry a wide range of vent covers with them on their routes and can usually install them on the same day of service. These hardwire screened or plastic covers will help prevent wildlife from entering and nesting in these areas.
Raccoons, skunks, woodchucks, opossums, and even foxes can make a den under people’s decks, causing sanitation issues and potential structural damage to the deck. If one of those animals dies underneath your deck, it can stink up your entire home and backyard for weeks.
Advanced Wildlife Control provides trenching services for your home, deck, and sheds. We dig a trench around the area and use a hardwire screening material to prevent animals from gaining access. If an animal should break through one of our trenches – which is very unlikely – we will come back out and fix the screening for free. Plus, we will waive the initial service fee for removing the animal(s).
Pricing will vary based on the size of the area being trenched and the difficulty to dig the trench and install the screened wire. Our technicians will provide a free quote for you on the cost. We have done many types of trenches both small and large decks, around sheds, and even bay windows.
