To Our Customers in Regards to COVID-19

As of tomorrow morning, the 25th of March, Milwaukee, and the surrounding area, will officially be under the new “Stay-at-Home” order per Governor Evers. This order requires all non-essential businesses to close for the time being to assist in preventing the spread of COVID-19. However, essential services are still allowed to operate. Per section 13.h. of the order, critical trades such as exterminators are still allowed to perform their much-needed services for the community.

Advanced Wildlife Control does fall under this “critical trade” category, and as such will be continuing to operate and help with the animal removal and pest control needs of the community. The safety of our customers, technicians, and office staff has always been our number one priority. Therefore, we have set up steps and precautions to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 and keep all parties involved as safe as possible.

NUMBER #1 = We are doing all we can to limit the need for inside service at this time. The benefit of pest control is that, typically, this work can be done exclusively around the exterior of your home, without the need for our technicians to come inside. Service payments can be done online with a credit card on our customer portal or over the phone with our office at 262-242-4390 or by check mailed to our office at 8041 West Mequon Road, Mequon WI 53097. This includes most services for insects, mice, voles, and often for our larger animals such as raccoons* and squirrels*

(*It is heading into baby season for these animals, so some inside service may be required*)

NUMBER #2 = When an inside check is necessary*, we will be wearing gloves and a respirator or dust mask and we will be doing all we can to maintain proper social distancing (6 feet apart) and limited contact. All technicians are equipped with the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) including masks, respirators, gloves, etc., that can be used when an inside visit is unavoidable. If you have recently traveled out of the country or state, or have come into contact with someone who has been diagnosed or is thought to have COVID-19, our technician will not enter your home.

(*This can include certain services for rats, spiders, centipedes, roaches, and others depending on a case-by-case basis. All regular service visits will not include inside service at this time unless absolutely necessary.*)

NUMBER #3 = When it comes to our staff, we have increased our normal sanitization routines of frequently used materials/equipment and common areas, and are reinforcing good hygiene policies such as frequent hand washing. Our in-the-field staff has been restricted from entry into our home office to ensure our administrative staff is prevented from any exposure. Administrative staff already have clearly defined and separated workspaces, and are further advised to maintain proper social distancing (6-foot radius) at all times. Any employee who is feeling unwell or has had known contact with an unwell individual has been advised to stay home.

NUMBER #4 = Any customer who would like to suspend service at this time, whether for financial reasons or health concerns, is welcome to do so with no repercussions. Simply let our office staff know that you would like to postpone service.

We have and will continue to closely follow guidelines laid out by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO), as well as local and federal health officials in regards to COVID-19. For more information about this disease and what you can do to help prevent the spread, visit the CDC’s website, Again, your safety is of the utmost importance to us. If you have additional questions about what we are doing or can do to help you feel safe and comfortable with your service at this time, give our office a call at 262-242-4390. Our dedicated office staff is happy to assist you.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you and your family, and do all we can to help keep everyone safe in this time of crisis. We know that together, we will get through this.

Stay safe and well!
